I am always encouraged when I see posts such as this on TownHall, and I trust TeaParty will not mind if I share this as well as my response.
Tea Party:
It's not only a prerequisite but mandatory if you are a DemonRAT politician looking for an upward career path. And it really, really makes points if you happen to be a baby killing death merchant such as Kathleen Tiller Si-bilious. She will be the high priestess of death for the tin god's temple of evil.
Side note: was reading my Bible, Acts as a matter of fact and there was the story of Herod, the baby killer of his day. One day he gave a speech boasting on what a great thing he did and he fell over, and died five days later with agonizing stomach pains. Instead of telling the people who worshipped him the day of his speech, he accepted the worship.
Seems we have another who revels in the blind worship of his followers and like Herod doesn't
tell them to stop because he is only a man not a god. Something to think about.
Anyone remember the terrible plane crash in Montana, that went down mysteriously, and exploded killing all fourteen aboard, 7 of them children? Seems the father and grandfather of the dead owns the largest number of abortion clinics in his state, picketers used to say his wife would laugh at the sight of the pictures of aborted babies they held. That plane landed in a cemetary where aborted babies are buried and memorialized..something else to think about.
This man and his wife were begged to repent and stop..they didn't and paid a terrible price.
A sad story but there's a warning for all of us,
our country as allowed this to continue and we are as guilty as this man and his wife and God
is letting us know by what has been occuring recently that he is not mocked. Pray for this country, that we repent and seek His face, we don't deserve his blessings, but need his mercy.

I appreciate your narrative about Herod. There is a real parallel between Herod and Obama, both evil, both destroying babies. I wonder when a plague will strike Obama? God is not mocked. So true.
Do you have links to the information on the plane crash incident? I was saddened to hear of it and the fact that so many children were killed, but I did not actually follow the story.
I follow the mandate of Scripture to pray for our rulers. I pray that God will give wisdom to all who ask of Him, and I pray He will have mercy on all who call on Him, but I also pray that for those who will never repent, and God knows who they are, that He will bring judgment on them and remove them from ruling over us and destroying our nation.
Not that we, as a nation do not deserve judgment, we do. But there is 2 Chronicles 7:14, and I am repenting for this nation daily. I know that if we had real repentance in America, we would be helped.
